EMI study for a new residential/commercial building having cellular telephone base stations on its roof.
Subsequent design of “Architectural” electromagnetic screening integrated into the building to ensure residents living on the upper floor of the building are not exposed to unacceptable EMF levels. Provision of a detailed specification for the screening. The implementation of regular quality assurance inspections whilst a contractor installed the electromagnetic screening.
Upon completion of the works and whilst base stations were operating, EMF reception measurements were carried out within the building to prove that EMF levels were acceptably low and were well within UK/European health & safety requirements. Final stage of the project was the issue of all test and acceptance documentation.
